FAQ :ELECTRIC MOTOR REPAIR
Electric motors are used in many, many industrial machines. They are tasked with very important jobs and are often ran at high capacity for many hours at a time. The nature of the work these motors deal with puts them at high risk of failure after being in use for some amount of time, depending on the motor's specifications. If you think your electric motor is about to quit or if it already won't start back up be sure to check out these frequently asked questions and then get in touch with an electric motor repair specialist.
Q What are the signs of potential electric motor failure?
A There are several things that may indicate an electric motor is on its way out for one reason or another. One of the most common signs of trouble is excessive vibrations coming from the motor. Other signs of trouble include burnt paint, dirty housing openings, burning smells or strange noises that occur during operation.
A.What are some common causes of electric motor failure?
A. There are many things that can cause electric motors to fail. The most common of them being poor operating conditions, such as excessive heat, which can lead to overheating or moist conditions which can cause dampness in the motor to occur, causing it to malfunction. Other issues include electrical overload, misalignment issues or even dirt and debris build up.
Q. How will an electric motor repair person fix my motor?
A. In order to repair an electric motor the repair person will first diagnose the issue. Upon understanding the problem they will replace any necessary parts in order to restore the motors function.
Q. Should I repair an electric motor or replace it?
A. The benefits of fixing a motor, as long as it can be fixed, really do outweigh the benefits of purchasing a new one. More than likely you will save hundreds of dollars over the cost of purchasing a new machine versus have a repair completed. Repairs can also take less time than the process of shopping and receiving delivery of a new machine, especially if your repair person offers on site service.
LIGHTING
Our range of LED energy saving bulbs provides ultimate serving in lighting solution be it in home or factory set up.
When LED lights are compared with fluorescent lights, there are many points that make the LED bulb better. Fluorescent bulbs contain mercury and use 8 watts per foot. They are constructed with glass materials and are very fragile. On the other hand, LED bulbs do not contain mercury, and they are more energy-efficient, using 2-4 watts per foot. LED lights are rubberized, making them hail, rock and vandal proof.
LED lights are also longer lasting than fluorescent or incandescent bulbs. Whereas a 12.5 watt LED bulb lasts 25,000 hours on average, a 15-watt fluorescent bulb lasts only 8,500 hours. An incandescent light lasts even less, with a 60-watt bulb lasting only 1,000 hours. This means that an LED light can replace up to three fluorescent bulbs and up to twenty-five incandescent bulbs, saving time and money for consumers.
